The brief for this project was the design of a light, visually stimulating ceiling form that would regenerate the internal usage of this listed church and frame the organ's original facade.

A silicon coated glass fibre material was chosen with a high 50% translucency. The form is lit from behind giving a uniform internal glow.

We carried out form-finding and analysis and developed a system of connection and stressing onto existing timberwork with remedial bracing where required.
