Wolgot, Korea.

This is the first station in Korea to use membrane as the structural material for the roof over the platforms.

The membrane roof is supported on steel tubular arches which span onto trusses which are held by a series of mast structures which form the architecture to the building.

The arches clear span across the tracks and platforms.

The structure so formed is elegant, lightweight, and translucent and symbolizes the original shape of sailing ships.
